Please register so we have a count for the day.
Over the past 6 months, we've been partnering with graduate students from the U of MN School of Landscape Architecture on a habitat restoration plan for 1/2 mile of the Gateway Trail in North St. Paul.
Now, it's time to plant! We will have over 30 shrubs, a dozen trees, and a variety of potted native plants that need to be lovingly planted to their new home. Plus, over 1/2 acre of wildflower and sedge seeds to spread.
We recommend volunteers wear long sleeves, long pants, a hat for sun, and sturdy footwear. And, of course, don't forget sunscreen.
